Sobek the Mighty: Protector of Thebes
Within the hallowed city of Thebes, a deity stood as protector. This was Sobek, the crocodile god, tremendous. His scales shimmered like moonbeams, and his eyes blazed with the wisdom of ages. He sheltered the city from harm, his presence a comfort to the hearts of the people. His worshipers built temples in his honor, where they offered treasures
